I'm looking into building a SASS for ambient nature recording. I've looked at Walt's build page and I don't have the tools for building the delrin mic supports. http://frogrecordist.home.mindspring.com/docs/making_sass-1.html I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to build me a couple? If so, email me offline with your cost. I do have a drill press that I could probably use to approximate what he's done. I don't know exactly how tight the tolerances have to be. Or maybe I'll come up with some other way to mount the mics. Anyway, if anyone has some thoughts let me know. This is still up in the air, I haven't purchased the mics or the SASS housing yet. Thanks, Kent |
