Thanks for the update and clarification. I was really surprised when oryoki=
 wrote that it cannot record mono but that was three years ago when he comp=
osed the list of complaints/idiosyncrasies the recorder has.

This is one less thing oryoki can now take off his list of complaints.

Once again, no reservations or hesitations from me to recommend the usage o=
f this recorder for tapers and/or nature recordists.
