Arrgh!  That's twice in a day that I've given out wrong information.

Yup.  I do know that, and have known it for 40 years.  But that knowledge d=
oesn't seem to prevent me from getting wrong answers.  I'm going to hang up=
 my pocket calculator until I've had a chance to catch up on my sleep.

But note that three of the examples that I quote have noise lower than -120=
 dBV.  And RME don't say what sort of dB their -129 dB spec uses.

Off to bed for a nap.  More later, if I can convince myself that I deserve =
to have a voice.
