Rich Peet, Mike Rooke and bothers use a QuadPre in the field. http://tinyurl.com/2wxh88y Its very hard to distinguish any sound quality differences from these pres and those used the SD recorders by ear. A little less gain, 60dB, but that's sufficient. Reliable on DC powering. Rob D. -- |
