Thanks for sharing this. Your rig looks very well crafted and well
thought-through! I listened to some recordings on your site. Any made
with your DIY mini-Jecklin?
I think Klas mentioned ~14dB(A) self-noise performance with his new
Telinga clip-ons which would be exceptional. The 3.5mm mic input
noise of the M-10, D50, PMD661 and Hi-MD should be low enough for
14dB(A) mics to shine. The LS-10 is probably not a good match because
the input noise it generates extends low into the frequency spectrum
(400Hz) where its quite audible. I'm curious why folks are
recommending nosier recorders than these to use with these new mics.
