There are a couple of posts about SD 302 & MixPre's in the system right now=
, so I have a question abot another SD product.

I was thinking of getting an Apogee MiniMe for transferring Reel to Reel & =
Cassette tape to my iMac for archival burning to CD. Will a Sound Devices U=
SBPre do what I'm after??? It seems from the specs on their website it does=
. Although the sample rate is not as high as the MiniMe (only up to 48k)

Does anyone on list have any experience in using it for this purpose?????

Or a better solution. I have been using line into SD702 for short copies, b=
ut would rather go direct into the iMac directly into Wave Editor (or simil=
ar)
