As others have pointed out, you haven't mentioned your price range, and the= quality of speakers will obviously vary considerably with price. On the chance that everyone's excellent suggestions up to this point are al= l outside of your budget range, my I suggest you check out the Blue Sky Med= iadesk 2.1 active monitors. They are in the $500 range. Designed for the = small project studio. Use a subwoofer to handle the low end. Comes with a= calibration file to achieve the right balance for the acoustic conditions = in your studio.
