Hi Max and the Group
I think I might qualify for inclusion. I'm 70 and the upper limit of my he=
aring seems to be about 7kHz. Maybe because of this, clarity of playback s=
ound seems so much more important now. I find there is a world of differen=
ce when listening to my recordings through good quality speakers (and headp=
hones )compared to normal computer 2.1, 5.1 arrangements.
Luckily I kept hold of my old 1970's hifi gear.
It seems to me the argument for the old and deaf not to use high quality sp=
eakers/headphones could also be applied to the use of high quality micropho=
nes (assuming the recordings are mainly for their own use).
Just another oldie's two'pennorth
Cheers
