Hi Rob
I would think these would be useful:
- Noise levels for both mic and line inputs
- Qualitative description of the noise
- Qualitative description of how coloured the resulting recording is (both =
line and mic in). (For example it took me quite a lot of searching to find =
that the LS-10 is lacking in bass)
- Monitoring quality (for example the noisy headphone preamp/monitor output=
 of the FR-2le)
- Seamless splitting of tracks
