And, if traffic noise was still a problem after the fact, I'd be starting with some high pass filtering with a steep slope first of all (before reaching for the more serious noise reduction approaches mentioned so far); it's amazing how much a bit of high pass filtering can improve the intelligibility of a recording. - Greg Simmons |
