If the calls/squaks, rumble vocalizations, and beak rubs share similar frequencies as the road rumble they, too, will be depressed or removed by a DNR filter Rather than removal, the suggestions are attempts to attain the best isolation possible without removal/data loss of the desired recording. It's always better not to throw info away, so if the filters have an option that will let you keep the noise (i.e., let you hear what will be attenuated or removed) you'll be able to tell how far a filter is intruding into what you want to keep and the extent of that particular filters usefulness. |
