Hi Clay and others
I can make EM23PIP's if I can put them into XLR housings. (Yes, a
few people like Dan got spoiled before, but those days are over with.)
There is a picture at http://www.telinga.com/gallery/em23pip.jpg
There is a foam wind-cover which you pull over the entire housing.
Best is if I can connect them both into a stereo 3,5 mm and best is
if I can make some 5-10 pairs of exactly the same shape. Otherwise
they get too expensive, in my opinion.
Cable length's may differ on request, no problem.
The ones interested can get in touch at my private mail. If I get
enough interest and enough time to deliver, I might come up with a batch.
So what is the EM23??:
I like words like "average" or "reasonably" or "good enough".
One of the reasons for this is that I agree with what Eric and lily writes=
.
Spec's don't give as much useful information as most people think.
Except for the self noise, which (to my knowledge) is the lowest of
all PIP mic's, the EM23 is such a "good enough" microphone.
"Next step" on the quality line, as I see it, is to get R=F6de mic's
and phantom power.
And another next step is HQ arrays and a matter of taste... And
talent and very hard work...
Klas.
