I suspect the latter. As I understand it, to take advantage of any benefits offered by DSD, you'd need an absolutely top class, studio quality mic-pre/input stage. Neither of the korg MR DSD portable recorders have such. Therefore it's kinda hard to see the point of the DSD here. Plus there's not alot you can do with your file once you've recorded it. (apart from converting it to PCM...) |
