I have to be repeatedly 'hit-over-the-head' in order to buy
additional technology-products... but this soundpro pre-amp
and lately, absurdly expensive rycote windscreens, have
enabled previously impossible field-recordings on portable
MD machines.

(I've just uploaded Island 5.0 field-recordings -- most of
which were recorded in a very noisy, very windy outdoor
baseball stadium in Nicaragua -- I did forget to 'normalize'
many of the converted-mp3s this time around...)
