You have to plug in headphones to each unit. All c.link sends between units is transport information, so the when the master goes into record, the 'slave' or 'slaves' follow along. No audio goes between, or any other information. But for the longest time, it wasn't sample accurate, which meant you basically had to use the equivalent of a clapboard or something else to sync up the files. Now it's working as it was designed.
