OK that would indicate they're going to some real effort to select
very closely matched pairs. The response curves may indicate the
window for selection, or may have sufficient resolution to determine
Rode's criteria.

I don't know about Rode, but some manufacturers feel that + or - 1db
at a number of different frequencies is a very good match. Since any
individual's hearing may be rather unmatched between left & right
ears, not to mention that any given set of stereo speakers or
headphones may also be pretty unmatched, I'm not sure how important
it is to get much more critical than that.
