Hello Everyone, Recently I acquired a 1/4 inch magnetic tape on an akai reel to reel player, made in 1968. The tape has some beautiful nature sounds that I want to import into my G4 or HP PC. Should I use the line out ports on the reel to reel with RCA cables, and then get the adaptors for USB into the computer? Also, which software do you reccommend for light cleaning up of the sound such as removing pops?
