I doubt very much >if you would ever hear that. John's measurement was made with no audio signal, just a 150 ohm resistor in the circuit. Phillip is right. In practice, I've never detected the system-internal disc writing sound in a recording at full gain with 10mv/Pa (lower sensitivity) mics in the dead of night in a remote location. Rob D. |
