I previously had that problem in some of my recordings with my rh10 -
pronounced enough to significantly compromise the recordings.
After some troubleshooting I found the problem occurs if a mic cable
is positioned closely against the recorder. The worst occurrence was
when I had the mic cable sandwiched between the recorder and a pb224
phantom power supply. Repositioning the cables, clear of the recorder
except for at the jack seemed to solve the problem. I no longer
secure cables by taping to the back of my minidisc recorders.
