Others who sweep eBay for "mkh" probably noticed this too,.. A dealer here in the US seems to be offering (via eBay) MKH' 20's and 30's new, under-warranty for $1035USD each-- $150 hundred less than I've seen in recent years. They had a pair of new, matched MKH40's for a little over $1900 that sold while I was going through their list! Its important to establish that a dealer will stand by their products when buying gear at this level, but they seem to carry other items of interest to field recordists. Anyone looking into such a purchase might want to investigate this company. Please get back if the experience is a good one. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZsoundpureQ2ecom Rob D. -- Rob Danielson Peck School of the Arts University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee http://www.uwm.edu/~type/audio-art-tech-gallery/ |
