Hi Tim--
Its good to hear that Pure Sound is developing a
good reputation. I did a search and they do seem
to be under-pricing all of the dealers I could
locate on new Senn gear at the moment. You have
very good point about perks and quality
interaction that can come along with package
deals and developing dealer loyalty. As I've
mentioned before (sorry!), I work with a dealer,
Sonic Sense, who also rents gear and they will
sometimes rent the item and apply the rental
towards purchase if its acceptable. Depends a bit
on the item of course.

You are a very energetic researcher-shopper Tim!
I agree the eBay playing field is leveling--
still an amazing resource for hard to find items
like a particular speaker driver or a replacement
remote for HiMD. I concur with Walt that there
could be less risk in buying used Sennheiser
mics. I've also had very good experiences with
them testing and replacing faulty parts. Rob D.
