And a Happy New Year to you and yrs. Long time no hear. Hope all's
going well. If you're looking for some good info, my book, "Wild
Soundscapes: Discovering the Voice of the Natural World," contains
some good info particularly on mic systems altho the recording tech
has changed somewhat since it was published in 2002. Check it out and
good luck in CR. It can be a great place to record, especially if one
can get away from human noise. The place has deteriorated greatly
since I first went there in the 80s and when it was under the
protection of the then president Arias.
