Hi Con
With my old sharp minidisk I could set my synchro to record any thing
that calls above 24 or 12 dB then continue to record for 10sec then
continue to record providing the subject kept recording. I had to be
careful as some calls can start softly. For a shy subject that were
calling occasionally it did allow me to leave at the location to record
then retire some distance away, knowing only I will not have long period
of silence.
For the MZ-N1 the synchro only works for the optical (digital) input only.
