Hi Thanks for those replied
I have testing mainly with the WL 93's and there is a noticeable drop in 
voltage but I just tried it with  the WL 83 or 183s and this drop 
voltage didn't happen.( Why would that be happening).  Even so still no 
sound coming through any of the  mics tried. I have thought about 
clipping the 4 pin connector off but I haven't been game to bit the 
bullet yet. If it is not working with the connector, wouldn't it also be 
the case if wiring straight to  a mini jack. The female adapters are not 
switch graft that Rob mentioned in his instructions but that would make 
any difference.

It must work others have done it. I'm buffled why its not working for me.
