With external pre, I have no quibbles about
recording to PCM HiMD on my second rig. Has the
optical in too.
When I get some stuff behind me, I'll compare a
mbho omni-> bit to mbho omni ->HiMD @16bit.
Nick also sent me a FELS amp to test. Does anyone
have a spare Sony MS-957 and/or Sony 907 they
could send to me for testing the FELS along with
an NT-4 and 183.
