I have not come across _any_ real shortcomings as yet, but Dan has 
had a lot of experience with the 183's under the range of conditions 
encountered outdoors and he's in a good position to guage this.  I 
can report that my MKH-30 petered out with capacitor leakage after 50 
minutes at -12 degrees last Thursday and my 183's had no problem 
running all afternoon. Rob D.
