I don't see a problem with impedance. As you add more mikes, the 
source impedance goes down, but so what? The preamp is bridging it, 
anyway. Lower source impedance is better. I'd be concerned about 
plug-in-power voltage drop. They feed through a series resistor, so 
the more mikes the more current and the lower the voltage across the 
mikes.
