You're happy with what happens between L and R, why not be happy with
a symmetrical situation between R and RS? The SASS has a barrier
between L and R. I'm suggesting trying adding three more barriers of
the same type for symmetry.
It's similar to the symmetrical four cardioid mike array one might
use for quad ambiences, but the directivity comes from the barriers
rather than the capsules.
