Rudy:
I'd love to hear your impression of the results, both using a conventional
5.1 speaker array (although not using the front center speaker) and also
using a quad speaker arrangement.
What do your fine-tuned ears hear when you listen to the recordings from th=
e
two rigs?
Remember too that the 360 degree walkaround-talkaround test is my personal
test based on my personal goals for surround sound playback. It is certainl=
y
not an established criteria for conventional surround sound recording and
playback.

I have the multichannel recordings made from the Lang Array as well as Greg
Weddig's quad rig that he, Jonathan Storm and I took out for a dawn chorus
at the
workshop. As soon as I get copies to those folks, I'll see if there's a
convinent way to
make tham availble to other interested parties.
