I was not promoting the magic incantation as a workable solution, but
more as a little window to look in and see what's wrong with Peak.

In my case, identifying the type of problem in Peak makes it even more
certain I will continue to use Peak only for simple edits, and any more
complex stuff do with Spark XL. Meaning I'm still stuck using and
supporting two programs, as Spark XL makes a very poor simple editor.
But a really good program for complex sound processing.
