It is amazing how good an old laptop is as a recorder.  If anyone is
going that route have the store upgrade the hard drive unless you are
good.  Any PC with a 266 MHZ or less processor has a 2 gig hard drive
limit or less.  There are work arounds but there are a lot more
limits to these machines than just the 2 gig wave file limit.
Remember that the original PC had a 640kb RAM limit.
