I've always believed the topic here was pointing a mic at a chosen
natural sound source and recording it. I choose which mic based on the
sort of sound I know I will get, not on charts and graphs, or test
results. They enter into the sound I get in a fairly minor way, but
don't predict it accurately.
But maybe we no longer discuss that sort of thing here. Only testing,
testing, testing...
