The swamp safari was for Yellow Rail and Nelson's Sharp-tailed
sparrow.  It seems the hardest birds in my area to find are the ones
that are sitting in Barb's backyard.

If Barb's are quiet in the winter then mine probably will be too but
I still have to try as this boreal forrest area is easier for me to
move within during the winter than in the summer.  Not to mention the
proof is worth a lot more for a record in the winter than it is in
the summer.

This is a fast moving trout stream on the north shore of lake
superior where he is.  With good luck it will be shown to be both a
he and a she.
