One advantage of the Portadisc is that it includes a USB interface on
board. So, getting recording into the PC is easy, albeit in real-time.

To the experts:

OK!  So here is a rather stupid question, I fear. If I purchase the The
Edirol UA-3 then do I also need a sound card different from the cheap
one
that will come with the computer?
