Nothing out of the ordinary with birds nesting at present. Many years ago I had Yellow-rumped Thornbills on (in) a nest with eggs on June 15 (my late father's birthday) and White-plumed Honeyeaters on eggs at our Charcoal Tank banding site at West Wyalong. The swans at Franklin Pond have 3 cygnets and the Eurasian Coots there appear to be building a nest while still with 3/4 grown chicks. I think, from the very brief view in the semi darkness as I drove past last night that one of the Masked Lapwing's regular nest sites is already in use. Magpies are building down the road from my house and the local Australian Ravens are doing their territorial displays. And I am still getting begging young Sulphur-crested Cockatoos for my GBS chart. The Little Corellas were a couple of weeks ago but the numbers visiting have dropped so I am not getting begging young at present. Mark On 11/07/2020 1:18 pm, Rob Geraghty wrote:
