On my third visit to the Fyshwick SP the mae Blue-billed Duck was sitting out in the middle of the pond, and then produced its bill while swimming up and down.

A slightly unusual mixed flock was 59 Crested Pigeons and 19 Red-rumped Parrots sitting in the trees and powerlines in front of the  Wetlands  Offices.

In town I have been impressed with the amount of guano on the pavers under some of the trees in Bunda and Akuna Sts.  Last night I counted 56 Galahs in the trees.  It seems that they start to roost in a tree close to the intersection of Akuna St and Corranderk St and then move to a couple of trees near the Canberra Centre overpass to finally settle for the night.
