Further to Peter Crow's comment.
If Bowra was bought for purely conservation purposes and allowed to
regenerate "back to nature", it is likely that the existing species
diversity would diminish. Present habitats include for instance grassland,
and the bore drain and associated "lake". Unless actually managed for
species diversity, or as a going concern, these habitats in theory would
disappear.
If it was bought and run as a going concern, whatever income it might
make would go at least some way toward its maintenance.
I may have missed the beginning of this thread, is Bowra actually on
the market? If so it's current approximate income figures should be
available.
