Hi birders,
My husband, a gardener by trade, was mowing a lawn today and was confronted
by a magpie. It apparently gave a call closely resembling a coot, followed
by another call which my husband thought sounded like a thornbill. It then
gave a more magpie-like call and that was the end of the conversation.
Cheers,
