New Bird Life logo

I received a letter yesterday from Birdlife Australia showcasing the new logo. 
I have no idea what it is but I think I can see a waterbird of some 
description. I assume that considerable time has gone into considering, 
consulting and designing something new, but I am underwhelmed. I think this is 
a retrograde step from the previous Emus of BA. I believe this should have been 
put to a vote of the membership.
