Good idea. Did I once read here about someone convincing a manufacturer to modify the ring design so that they break when the lid is opened? In my opinion all these types of rings should be like this. I wonder if it would be possible to try to photograph this bird and send a photo to the relevent manufacturer, if they can be identified.
