Dear Graham and birding-aussers,
I pulled into a rest stop about 40 km north of Albury on 21st July, and to
my delight there was a flock of about 20 Swift Parrots in the Eucalypts
around the rest stop.

G'day birders, there seems to be very few Swift Parrot reports in NSW for
this winter. Is it just me, or aren't there many around this year? Has
anyone seen them in their usual haunts on the central coast? I looked at
Castlereagh Nature Reserve (western Sydney) earlier this year and couldn't
find any despite good ironbark flowering.

Just curious.

Cheers
Graham Turner
