To Swiftie spotters,For the record, I spent half of yesterday 5th August, around Kingower and Wehla in central Victoria and found Swift Parrots in a couple of locations totalling c.25 birds. On days like this you only ever cover a tiny fraction of the country ( either side of the tracks ) so I suspect there are many more out there. Cheers, Simon Starr. |
