My 1998 model, Garmin GPS2 is hard to read these days, probably because it has been overheated a few times on the dashboard and I highly recommend the Garmin GPS 72, it is reasonably cheap to buy, is easy to read and use and has many good features, I have used it a lot over the past two years for many applications and no problems with saving data to the computer.
