I've just remembered where my old Magellan, which didn't work, actually went. My house was broken into at Easter 2004 and the silly thieves took it. Hope they had fun. Tony Russell -----Original Message----- From: Bill Stent Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 4:01 PM To: Tony Russell Cc: Subject: RFI: GPS for birding I don't really want to keep putting the boot in, but my dad has a Magellan 310. It doesn't work. However... There's a new guaranteed way of never getting lost using a Magellan 310. You put it on the bonnet of your 4WD just before you go off on foot, and keep the unit in sight at all times. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
