g'day all,
On my trip I was impressed with the number of Olympus C700 series cameras I saw being used by Birdos.
I think they were the first with a 10X optical lens .. but at least 2 other brands now have this option.
Unfortunately none of these appear have a stabiliser.

It is great that the C740 & C750 can just plug into any PC running the latest MS software (except 98 ?) and be downloaded or viewed on most TVs.

As most of us know modern cameras have so many features we overlook.
These pocket guides help fill that knowledge gap.
The 18 page guide for the C700 is comprehensive enough for my modest demands.
 
It is heart warming to get a "confirmation of record" that confirms a rare bird sighting.
