ATTENTION ALL VICTORIAN (AND AUSTRALIAN) BIRDERS:

The Victorian Government has recently been addressing an interim report prepared after an inquiry into last years Bushfires in Victoria.

The main strategy that seems to be proposed in managing bushfire risk, is fuel reduction on crown and public lands, and a request for land owners to do similar.

I see this decision as potentially devestating to critical wildlife habitats, and fairly unaffective in the general scheme of things.

This is a BIG issue affecting  birds and australian wildlife in general and i want to urge all birders to voice there concerns to the Victorian Government.

I hope this email address is current:

Please let your knowledge and concern be known.
