Ian, I agree that Lake Brewster is a great camping spot central to many good birding sites but a word of warning, avoid long weekends, especially Easter when the campsite is full of people with a penchant for drinking, swearing, fighting and occasionally fishing. I totally endorse Ian's comment that Bowra Station should be on every 'birdos' list as a great place for birding. I have been there a number of times and class it as one of the great birding sites in Australia.
