A short note to say that well known Barham
birding identity, Peter Disher, passed away yesterday one day short of his
81st birthday. Just recently in conjunction with the Barham Landcare Group
he published Birds of the Barham District detailing observations over the last
70 years. No doubt some people on this list have come across Peter out
there in the field.
I personally have spent a lot
of time with him in the field over the last 3-4 years and have gained much form
his wealth of knowledge. He will be sadly missed.
