Steve

I have to apologise to Garmin and their great little eTrex. Yesterday I
said that the eTrex did not allow me to enter lat/long of a desired
destination and then to find it. I was wrong and must thank Paul Taylor for
showing me where in the manual it explains this procedure.

I have tried everything else it does and have been surprised at how much can
be done with such a small outlay. I thought I had checked the manual
carefully but obviously not. Can I use senility as an excuse?

For the records, the instructions are on page 15 of the owner's manual under
"Edit Waypoints".
