Hello All,
Two methods that are good with removing leeches.
One- metho
Two- cigarette lighter.
Just remember not to use both methods at once. Mind you that would probably
work also. Personally I just yank the leeches off. A bit bloody true and I
itch for days afterwards, but after a while you get sick of bothering trying
to keep them off.
Thanks to all who gave advice re the origin of scientific names. I still
haven't found out the origin of the white-bellied Crimson Finch subspecific
name, evangelinae, although it was probably named after a woman. If I ever
find out who it was I'll let people know.
Cheers,
Mick Todd

Subject: Leech socks & mozzie nets??
Would anyone know where to get some Leech socks. I can't find any around
Newcastle. Also the only Mozzie nets I can find (with really small holes)
are $100....
Thanks for any help
Phil.
